He qualified as an architect in 1905. His work is completely eclectic and the Modernista idiom was just one of those he used in his work. He became municipal architect of Terrassa in 1906. Just before that, in 1904, he completed the work on the Mercat de la Independència (1903-1908; Rambla d´Ègara, 124-128, Terrassa) which had been started by the architect A. Pascual Carretero. He was responsible for the renovation of the main façade of Casa Alegre Sagrera 1911; (Font Vella, 29-31; currently home to the Museum of Terrassa) and the Torras store (1914; Sant Pere, 61, Terrassa), in which he used Modernista language.
He worked as municipal architect of Esparreguera and Sant Vicenç dels Horts. While holding the latter post he designed the café of the cultural society La Vicentina (1914; Rafael Casanovas, 45, Sant Vicenç dels Horts), using Modernista language, and a few years later made the town hall building of Sant Vicenç dels Horts (1927).
