In 1906 he went to Havana to work with R. Magriñà on the gardens of brewery called La Tropical (1906-1912; Cerro Rico y Baire, Havana). A few years later, in 1914, he went to Camagu?ey to direct the work, involving a team of Catalans, on two churches and the Salesians' School of Arts and Crafts.
He built his home in Camagu?ey (Samuel Bello, 52) and founded a hydraulic mosaic factory there which was in operation for many years.
