GRACMON is a research group linked to the Art History Department at Barcelona University investigating art, architecture and design history in the modern world. GRACMON is characterised by its research based on an interdisciplinary vision of art history encompassing diverse artistic expressions using different viewpoints and methodological approaches. GRACMON is especially active in studies on Modernisme from a scientific viewpoint and as applied research for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.

GRACMON manages the Documentation Centre of Catalan Art from Modernisme to Noucentisme, which has become a point of reference for all the group's research. The centre has a major collection of microfilm and scanned material of magazines and catalogues from the era, as well as a photographic collection.
