His work is closely linked to that of the architect A. Gaudí, with whom he worked on the Palacio Episcopal de Astorga (Plaza de Eduardo de Castro, Astorga, León), on the crypt of Colònia Güell (1890; Claudi Güell, s/n, Santa Coloma de Cervelló) and in Barcelona on Park Güell (1900-1914) and Palau Güell (1885-1889; Nou de Rambla, 3-5).
