He qualified as an architect in Barcelona in 1893 and did most of his work there, including Modernista buildings, especially in the Sants neighbourhood. Between 1900 and 1920 he constructed a large number of blocks of flats, such as Casa Domènec Vila Jané (Sants, 132) and Casa Jaume Estrada (Sants, 54).
He also built the Bagaria factory (1920-1925; Carretera d'Esplugues, 169, Cornellà de Llobregat).
