The workshop of these two Barcelona carpenters was extremely active in the Modernista period producing mainly artistic woodwork for shops, establishments and places of leisure. One of their most celebrated pieces of work was the decoration of the Alhambra café in Barcelona (now no longer in existence) due to the great quality of the wavy lines that were repeated in never-ending spirals. Their contribution to the Torino café (1902; Passeig de Gràcia, 18; no longer in existence), under the direction of the decorator R. Capmany, and the decoration of the Bosch jewellery (Jaume I; no longer in existence), was also of note.
