She commissioned the architect J. Puig i Cadafalch to build Casa Terrades, also known as Casa de les Punxes (1903-1905; Diagonal, 416-420), for her daughters Rosa, Josefa and Àngela Terrades i Brutau. The inscription on one of the façades of this building -"Sant Jordi, patró de Catalunya. Torneu-nos la llibertat" (Saint George, patron of Catalonia. Give us back our freedom)- aroused controversy at the time and illustrates the Catalanist character of this patron of Modernisme.
