The exhibition creates an opulent tableau that offers uniquely rich and complex insights into the fascination of Vienna circa 1900 and the atmosphere of this vibrant period. Comprising some 1,300 items displayed across three floors, this semi-permanent installation presents the splendour and wealth of the artistic and intellectual achievements of this era through masterpieces from the Leopold Museum and notable permanent loan works from Austrian and international collections.

This exhibition presents a wide and varied selection of paintings by Anglada-Camarasa in order to present his oeuvre from a personal, romantic perspective that recalls the layout of the Museum in Pollença. It provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the work of Anglada-Camarasa through a different exhibition approach from how the work has been shown in CaixaForum until now.

By showcasing posters and paintings, sculptures, furniture and ceramics, the exhibition underscores the extraordinary artistic and artisanal blossoming that swept over and ultimately overhauled decorative taste at the beginning of the twentieth century.

Projected on all the surface of the Atelier des Lumières, the new digital exhibition immerses visitors in the paintings of Vincent van Gogh. This new visual and musical production retraces the intense life of the artist, who, during the last ten years of his life, painted more than 2,000 pictures, which are now in collections around the world.

The exhibition now on show in Liverpool is the touring exhibition organised in 2018 to celebrate Glasgow's 150th anniversary of the birth of one of its greatest sons, the architect, designer and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The centrepiece of the City's celebrations was the critically and publicly acclaimed Glasgow Museums' temporary exhibition, "Charles Rennie Mackintosh - Making the Glasgow Style" at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. This major exhibition brings together 45 works by Vincent van Gogh to reveal how he was inspired by Britain and how he inspired British artists.

The Leopold Museum is dedicating one of the most comprehensive retrospectives to date to Oskar Kokoschka (1886-1980), once dubbed the "chief wildling" among artists. Comprising some 260 items, including key works from international collections alongside others that have rarely or never been displayed before, the exhibition focuses on Kokoschka's multi-faceted work from all periods of his oeuvre that he produced at various places of activity, including Vienna, Dresden, Prague, London and, lastly, Villeneuve.

The National Gallery presents the first UK exhibition of Spain's Impressionist, Sorolla, in over a century.
Known as the "master of light" for his iridescent canvases, this is a rare opportunity to see the most complete exhibition of Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida's (1863-1923) paintings outside Spain.

To celebrate the triple anniversary of the house of architect Victor Horta -100 years of the sale of the building, 50 years of the inauguration of the Museum and 30 years of restoration- the Horta Museum is staging three new exhibitions that focus on the still unknown facet of Victor Horta as a collector. The three exhibitions, entitled "The History of the Museum", "The Horta House" and "The Workshop and Its Enlargement", are running concurrently in the Museum's three buildings.

The exhibition presents 47 works by leading artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, such as Fortuny, Rodin, Klee, Matisse, Picabia, Picasso, Dalí and Miró.

The exhibition "Chapeau! From Casas and Picasso to Balenciaga and Pertegaz" is dedicated to hats and all that they represented at a given moment. But it is primarily an aesthetic look at one of the most fascinating items of clothing in the first half of the 20th century, although its existence dates back many centuries earlier. In theory, this would be the first exhibition of a historical, retrospective and monographic nature on the subject of hats ever organised in Catalonia and also the rest of Spain.

The exhibition entitled "Kraków 1900" presents the story of the city at the turn of the 20th century, a period known as Kraków's Belle Époque.

The National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) , in collaboration with the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum and "Kobe Shimbun" newspaper, is staging an exhibition entitled "Barcelona. City of Artistic Miracles. The Essence of Modern Catalan Art from Modernisme to the Avant-garde", which will be seen in five museums and galleries in Japan and includes some 150 works from major Spanish museums and collections, 60 of which belong to the MNAC collection.

The exhibition sets out to explain the major changes in the city beginning in the second half of the 19th century and continuing into the next century as shown through the works of artists such as Ramon Casas, Santiago Rusiñol, Isidre Nonell, Joaquim Mir, Ricard Canals, Antoni Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch, Josep Maria Jujol, Gaspar Homar, Juli González, Joaquim Torres García, Joaquim Sunyer, Josep Clarà, Xavier Nogués, Manolo Hugué and Pablo Gargallo, among others.

The show will also run at the Himeji City Museum of Art from 29 June to 1 September 2019 before it travels to Sapporo and Shizuoka to finish its tour in Tokyo in April 2020.

Today, hardly anyone knows who they were, even though they made a part of art history: artists such as Elena Luksch-Makowsky, Helene Funke, and Erika Giovanna Klien contributed significantly to Viennese Modernism and artistic trends that manifested after the First World War. To commemorate these artists, their art, and their emancipatory achievements, a long overdue retrospective has now been staged in the Lower Belvedere.

The National Museum in Kraków is commemorating the 110th anniversary of Stanis?aw Wyspianski 's death with an exhibition entitled "Wyspianski" that includes more than 900 works by this outstanding, multifaceted artist from Poland at the turn of the 20th century. Wyspianski was a major poet, painter, playwright, designer, illustrator, theatre reformer, graphic designer and set designer.

On the centenary of the death of Koloman Moser (1868-1918), the MAK is hosting a large exhibition to showcase his wide-ranging oeuvre, which covers the disciplines of painting and graphic design, applied art, interior design, fashion, and scenography.

Mallorca joins in commemorating the Jujol 140 Year with an exhibition entitled "Jujol a la Seu" (Jujol in La Seu) that can be seen in the Cathedral of Mallorca until 7 April 2019. The show aims to provide information about the artistic figure of Josep Maria Jujol, especially his participation in the adaptations made to the Cathedral by Antoni Gaudí in in the early 20th century.

"Gauguin: A Spiritual Journey" is the first exhibition at FAMSF dedicated to the work of Paul Gauguin (1848-1903).
The show explores two themes central to his career: the relationships that shaped his life and work and his quest to understand spirituality, both his own and that of other cultures he encountered. More than sixty Gauguin works will be on view -ranging from oil paintings and works on paper to wood carvings and ceramics- alongside art of the Pacific Islands from the FAMSF collection. These works combined encompass distinctive phases of Gauguin's career to show the development of his ideas, the scope of his oeuvre and the inspiration he found in New Zealand, the Marquesas Islands and Tahiti.
